You’re a leader. You’re a very successful leader.  And you want to be an even better leader!

As you look to excel, take these words to heart.

“We teach best what we most need to learn.”
― Richard Bach, Illusions

What a better way to expand your leadership skills than to teach someone else how to be a better leader.  Look for someone in your organization who is eager to learn and help them on their journey to better leadership.  Find out what areas they want to improve in and watch yourself improve in those areas as you share your wisdom, knowledge and experience in those areas.  As you converse about leadership and the various skills and tools, you will become much more conscious regarding what you do and how you do it.

Spend time mentoring and watch yourself grow and change.  You cannot help someone else without helping yourself at the same time.
