We’re finally over the holidays, at least the big one until next summer arrives.  Did you take time in December to plan for 2013?  Or were you struggling to end the year on a positive note?  I know a lot of executives and business owners were struggling to find that positive note.

Is 2013 going to be more of the same or are you ready to look at how healthy your organization is (or isn’t) and make the necessary changes to have a different finish to 2013.

Like any check up you need to take a good look at what you’re doing and then do something different.

You can begin your check up by answering these questions.

  1. Did you reach your goals for 2012?
  2. What did you do, if you did reach your goals and what do you need to do if you didn’t.
  3. Are your employee’s happy or marking time?
  4. Do you know where your market is going in 2013?
  5. Are you a leading company or a following company?
  6. Do you reward risks for their learning experience?
  7. What are you going to do different in 2013?
  8. What are you going to do the same in 2013?
