A healthy organization is a growing organization. What are some of the signs of a healthy growing organization?
- A leadership team that trusts one another.
- Clear purpose, vision, mission and values.
- Clear goals.
- Consistent communication.
- Everyone (leadership and employees) is on the same page.
- Everyone is committed to the organization.
- Everyone knows that what they are doing is important to the organization.
- Freedom to disagree until the decision has been made.
- Everyone’s contribution to the organization is valued.
- Failure is expected as a part of learning and growth.
All of these are simple and not very novel ideas. The challenge is that they are not easy to do. It takes time, persistence and patience to ensure that these 10 Keys to Growth become the culture of the organization.
