Have you ever asked your employees why they come to work? What is it about your working environment that keeps them coming in day after day?
Do you have such an engaging environment that your employees want to come to work every day and see what they can accomplish or are they coming to work because they need the money you pay them and there aren’t any other jobs out there so they are sticking it out?
Have you asked your employees what keeps them there, or are you afraid at some level they won’t tell the truth because they really need the job.
You know the truth, if you are willing to look at it. If you’re not feeling the electric energy of creating, the hum of progress when you walk in to your office, you know what the answer is. So now what are you going to do about it.
Think about yourself, think how much more creative and fulfilled and energized you feel when you know why you are coming to work, what you want to create and how what you’re doing impacts your vision and mission.
Think how much more creative and productive your employees will be when they have the same understanding and clarity.
