062Is your company on the path to health, which means it has high employee retention of exceptional employees, raving customers that continue to come back for more and increased profits?

Or maybe profits are up slightly, but your top notch employees are job hunting and their productivity has begun to slide. What about your customers?  Are they buying more from you or are repeat sales slipping?

Profits, employee morale and customers are the three legs of a stool. If the stool is stable (and growing) then your business is on track to health, if not the health of your organization is on its way down.

While it’s easy to tell if profits are increasing, it can be harder to tell if employee morale is on the increase or decreasing as your employees are not going to tell you that they are looking for a job.  In addition it can be a challenge to determine why customer sales may be decreasing.

In order to determine what is going on in your organization you’ll need to start communicating with your employees and customers to determine what’s going on.  The big secret to ensuring that the effort you put forth is productive is that you have to determine what changes need to be made and then make them.  If you don’t follow through with your findings you’ll only increase the downward spiral.

Ask the questions, find the answers and make the changes and your business will grow in all areas!
