Inspiration is reemerging! You’re feeling more energized, you remember why you created your business. Now that you’re feeling that way don’t you want those who work for you and with you to feel the same way?
Sharing your vision and enrolling others into is one of the most important if not the most important role of the CEO, President or whatever your title is as the leader of an organization. Sharing and enrolling others is an ongoing role that should not be taken lightly. It’s not enough to go around telling everyone what the vision (and this also includes mission and values) is, and printing it on cards and giving everyone one to pin up on the wall over their desk or making beautiful posters that hang in the lobby or hall ways.
While it is important share it, it’s even more important to insure that it has become a part of the very DNA of the organization. How are you being in your role as the CEO/Leader? Is it clear that decisions are made that map back to the vision? Are employees hired with clarity based on the vision?
When there is clarity throughout the organization starting with the vision and everyone knows where the organization is going and why what they are doing is important to that vision, the result is an organization that is growing in a way that encourages even more growth.
Your sharing and enrolling others in your vision can be likened to the internal combustion that creates an energy and forward momentum that is more powerful than its self and continues to create forward momentum with everyone’s participation.
