Who’s on your leadership team?  Who are the leaders in your business?  If you’re like a lot of business owners you’ll look around and see a lot of leaders that look and act just like you.  When you have meetings do they run smoothly because there is no conflict or do they run smoothly because you have a plan and everyone knows how to handle conflict?

If your meetings run smoothly because there is no conflict, this can be a sign that you have a team of individuals who all think like you and that can be a problem. If you’re all looking at the same thing the same way you might not see that competitor coming in from left field or the new company to the right.

Make it a conscious decision to expand the membership of your leadership team to include individuals who are not just like you.
