You think you have a problem.  You know you have a problem! Is it the real problem though?  The problems we think we have and that we tend to spend most of our time solving are only going to take us so far.  Instead what we need to do is to look at the problem behind the problem, to ask ourselves if we ignored this problem what problem behind that do we need to solve?   Instead of asking your clients what they need, think about what they need that they don’t know they need. Look at the technology you are using today and ask yourself “If I had more storage, more bandwidth, more power and lower costs what would I do?”  The great news for those of us that are willing to look at new problems is that we’ll see opportunities for growth and expansion. So where are you looking and what are you doing about it?

Jane Lovas is a heart-centered Business Therapist, helping overwhelmed CEOs and Leaders regain their clarity of purpose, let go of ambiguity and uncertainty, and focus on their true goals and objectives. Being a CEO is a lonely job; it helps enormously to have a sounding board; someone who’s there to toss around ideas with you; someone with no personal agenda to sway you in a certain direction; someone who will listen as you sort through all the ideas and concerns swirling around in your head; someone who can quickly help you make sense of the chaos so you can move forward with confidence.

Jane is also one of the co-authors of Seen and Sustained: Best Practices in Communication that Increase the Visibility of Small and Diverse Businesses.
