070We never make mistakes, of course we never do.  What if we are not perfect? What if we admitted we made a mistake?  We can’t do that it’s not allowed!

I don’t know how many times we hear this; we still have this thought that we are different, we can’t make mistakes, we can’t fail.  And yet what has ever been accomplished without mistakes and failures leading up to success?  What greater successes have then been built on that success, often times with more mistakes and failures between successes?

We do not go from success to success.  We go from mistakes to different mistakes to failures to success to more mistakes to more failures to bigger success.

According to John W Holt Jr., If you’re not making mistakes, you’re not taking risks, and that means you’re not going anywhere. The key is to make mistakes faster than the competition, so you have more chances to learn and win.

Let’s change our attitude about making mistakes and failing.  Think of something and try it, if it works the first time, I’m betting you didn’t try big enough.  Keep trying until you make a mistake or fail and then look at why it happened.  Fix it and keep moving forward.  Just think of what you’ll learn and what you’ll accomplish. Have fun and challenge yourself more.
