For the last couple of weeks I’ve been writing about One Focus Strategy™. In that vein today’s topic is about creating the program that will be the focus of your marketing and sales. There are a couple of reasons for having one program.
- Buyers like packages or programs.
- It gives them a sense of security.
- They know how much it will cost.
- It’s easier to market a program.
- You’re perceived as an expert when you have a program or packages.
To create a program you only need to follow these 5 steps.
- Decide what problem you are going to solve for your clients.
- Give your program a name.
- Define who it’s for.
- Define the timeline.
- Define the outcomes.
Once you have this done you’re actually ready to begin marketing and selling your program.
You don’t need to have everything created and all laid out. Start with a basic outline, because even if you’ve done this work a number of times it will morph as you actually work with clients within the framework of a program.
As you’re taking clients through the program pay attention to what you’re doing, what’s working and what’s not working the way you thought it would. Spend a few minutes after each session reviewing and updating your outline and materials. Before you know it you’ll have a complete program with all the materials you need.
Once you’re comfortable with your program then it’s time to create an audio or video program, and that’s a topic for another blog.
A quick reminder, remember to ask your clients for testimonials and referrals after they have gone through your program.
